Assistant Manager

We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager at our Ashton Under Lyne branch in Hyde Cheshire.

 

Responsibilities:

• Building relationships with staff and customers to maximise every opportunity

• Co-ordinating internal sales team and supporting other departments as required

• Consistently providing a high level of customer service and leading by example

• Dealing with customers over the phone and face-to-face on our trade counter

• Demonstrating excellent product knowledge

• Ensuring all administration is completed effectively

 

Skills / Experience:

• Electrical Wholesale experience

• Driving licence (preferable)

• Strong communication skills

• Friendly and approachable, with excellent customer service skills

Business Development Manager

We have created three great new opportunities for Business Development Manager’s to join our business based in:

MacclesfieldStockport – and Ashton Under Lyne (Specifically for the Central Manchester area)

 

Your focus will be to develop existing and new business opportunities to improve branch sales & profitability.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Research and identify new business opportunities within your defined area.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Meet with customers face to face, as well as liaising over the phone and email.
  • Listen to and understand customer needs, responding with an effective plan of how to meet their requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and in some cases, Suppliers.
  • Set goals alongside the Branch Manager and other team members within the branch.

 

Requirements:

  • Electrical Wholesaler (or other Merchant i.e. Builders/Plumbers) experience
  • Driving Licence
  • Strong Sales track record
  • Confident hunting for new business, cold calling etc.
